Day 1 - Nairobi - Arrival (NBO)

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, and transferred to the Hotel. The remainder of the day at leisure.|

#Pace of Travel: Relaxed, with a focus on arrival and settling in.

#Steps to Walk: Approximately 1,000-1,500 steps

#Facilities: Hotel amenities are available in Nairobi.

#Suitable for Age Group: All age groups, including the elderly and families.

#What to Bring: Comfortable clothes for travel, passport, travel documents.

#What to Do: Arrive at Nairobi, check in at the hotel, relax, and enjoy the day at leisure.

#What not to Do: Avoid strenuous activities on the first day after a long flight.

#Tip for You: Drink plenty of water to adjust to Nairobi’s altitude and stay hydrated.

Day 2 - Nairobi – Masai Mara (300 km, 5 hrs.)

After breakfast check-out hotel and drive to Masai Mara. Masai Mara National Reserve offers wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive and check in lodge. Enjoy the afternoon game drive.|

#Pace of Travel: Moderate, with a long drive followed by an afternoon game drive.

#Steps to Walk: Approximately 1,000-2,000 steps 

#Facilities: Hotel/lodge amenities, including game drive vehicles.

#Suitable for Age Group: Suitable for all ages, but long drives may be tiring for young children or the elderly.

#What to Bring: Comfortable clothes, camera, sunscreen, hat, binoculars for game viewing.

#What to Do: Enjoy the scenic drive to Masai Mara, check in at the lodge, and participate in an afternoon game drive.

Day 3 - Masai Mara National G.R

Early morning game drive returning to your lodge for late breakfast. Morning spent at leisure. Post lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. After the game drive back to the hotel and have dinner at the lodge.|

#Pace of Travel: Active, with early game drives and afternoon leisure.

#Steps to Walk: Approximately 1,500 – 2,000 steps 

#Facilities: Lodge amenities, game drive vehicles, and safari guides.

#Suitable for Age Group: All ages, though the early morning game drive may not be ideal for very young children.

#What to Bring: Comfortable clothes, camera, binoculars, sunscreen, hat, and a jacket for early mornings.

#What to Do: Go on an early morning game drive, enjoy breakfast at the lodge, and relax in the afternoon before another game drive.

#What not to Do: Avoid rushing during the game drive; patience yields better wildlife sightings.

Day 4 - Masai Mara National G.R - Another Day of Wildlife Encounters

After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, offering wonderful sceneries and plenty of games. Well-known for the spectacular, annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra, and other antelope, the reserve spans over 1,500 square kilometers of untamed, shrub-dotted African savanna and makes for a first-class game viewing destination. Arrive for lunch and later enjoy an afternoon game drive until sunset. Later, return to Mara Leisure camp for an overnight stay.|
